I’m fond of riding on waves with the help of my surf board. This activity is known as surfing. I’m not the only one person in the world who goes in for this activity. This thing is consider to be a kind of sport. But as for me I can’t agree with this statement. Any kind of sport is supposed to be full of numerous rules and restrictions. On should practise according to special techniques under special supervision conducted by other persons. But when riding on waves I can’t be limited by any kind of restrictions. I can have an excellent opportunity to enjoy freedom. Nobody is able to prevent my joy instead of wind and sharks. By the way I can tell you about my adventures with greedy sharks.

I started surfing on waves when I was just a little boy. My father once gave me a few lessons and I stuck to this thing for the rest of my life. Currently I’m not able to imagine my life without constant riding on waves. To say the truth from the very beginning this activity was rather scaring for me because I was a little boy aged seven years old. And my surf board was also relatively small at that time. But when I was a teen nothing could scare me when I was engaged in this exciting thing. At that time I was even used to ignoring my school lessons. It was troublesome to some extent and sometimes I even thought about a possibility to give up my school but my parents were against this. I even had some quarrels with my father. He told me that he was going to sell my surf board if I refused to attend school. That conversation impressed me greatly. So I decided to continue with my attending school.

Now I’m twenty eight years old. I’m married. I can consider myself to be rather a happy person because I’ve got a beautiful charming wife and two boys. I want these boys to be similar to me. I hope they are going to become real wave riders just like me. But they are too young now to receive their first surfing lessons. I’m going to give them the same lessons as my father gave me in the past.

But currently my parents are going to celebrate a glorious event. I mean their 30th anniversary. So It’s up to me to prepare for this event properly. But luckily I have found an appropriate anniversary gift for them. I’ve ordered to make a sculpture of a person who’s riding on waves on his surf board. I consider this anniversary gift to be a worthy thing for them.
