An Old Flame In The Groomsmen List, Should You Intervene?

You can envisage many things happening to you, good and bad; but of all the strange things that can strike you, it is having an old flame standing as groomsman beside your groom - one for Ripley’s. How wretched can you get? This is every bride’s nightmare, especially if the ex was the worst guy in the book and the groom is clueless about this past relationship.

If this happens to you, you cannot just close your eyes and wish the Ex away. You cannot scream NO if you are tasked to choose the Groomsmen Gifts. At least as a relief, it won’t be hard to pick the gift for the Ex-to be-groomsman, because you know very well this Ex collects engraved zippos but is not [into|keen about[/spin] a passport wallet.

It won’t do you any good to hide the whole thing secret , your groom will hear about anyway; perhaps not now but the secret will manage to leak. Anyway, Ex Men who become groomsmen at their Ex Women’s weddings won’t spoil the big day by bay about your erstwhile relationship. But if he does, what can you do?
